Ingredients:
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 lb white button mushrooms halved ( you can use baby bella mushrooms too)
- 1 large sweet vidalia or white onion thinly sliced
- 2 large cloves garlic minced
- 1/4 teaspoon salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Heat the olive oil and melt the butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Keep an eye on the butter making sure it does not burn.
- Mix in the Worcestershire Sauce.
- Toss in the mushrooms and sauté until they begin to brown, around 5 minutes. Stir every 1 1/2 minutes.
- Add in the onions and cook until they caramelize and turn translucent, about 5 minutes. Keep stirring every 1 1/2 minutes.
- Lastly, lower the heat, add the minced garlic, and stir constantly for the last minute.
- Season with salt and pepper to your preference.
