S’mores Rice Crispy Treats
Rice crispy treats are one of my "go to" sweets. I am that person that gravitates toward that thick, giant rice crispy treat in the bakery. Something about the simplicity of a rice crispy treat. Not only is it a simple treat but it also versatile. They have a lot of potential for flavor variations. For the s’mores rice crispy treat, I wanted the rice crispy to be the cracker. Therefore, it had to be thin, as thin as possible. It is fairly easy to roll out the rice crispy mixture to the preferred thickness. And it worked beautifully.
NGREDIENTS to MAKE these RICE CEREAL MARSHMALLOW SWEETS
- mini marshmallows
- rice cereal
- crushed graham crackers
- butter
- Ghirardelli square chocolates
- regular marshmallows
HOW TO MAKE THIS RECIPE
Melt butter and mini marshmallows in a large pot over medium heat. Continually stirring.
Add rice cereal and crushed graham crackers. Mix well.
Place mixture onto parchment paper and let cool for a few minutes. Roll out the mixture until you get the thickness you prefer. Cut into squares.
Add Ghirardelli square chocolate and toasted marshmallow.

- 10 oz mini marshmallows
- 4 cups rice cereal
- 2 cups crushed graham crackers
- 3 tablespoons butter
- Ghirardelli square chocolates
- Regular Marshmallows
Instructions
