It is a perfect cocktail for Valentine’s Day. Strawberries, red roses and chocolate are synonyms with Valentine’s Day. This cocktail can also be enjoyed in the beginning of the summer just when strawberry season starts. You get the most gorgeous strawberries in June. The Strawberry Breeze is a refreshing welcome at the end of a long day.
Creating the Perfect Cocktail
When it comes to alcoholic beverages, I always like to serve light and easy to drink cocktails that won't fill you up and make you feel heavy. The key to crafting the perfect cocktail is balance, flavor and smoothness.
First, you want the cocktail to be balanced, meaning that one ingredient does not overpower another. Examples would be not too sweet, not too sour, not too much alcohol, etc...
Second, you want the cocktail to have flavor. If you are making a strawberry vodka cocktail, then strawberries should be predominant. If you are making a pineapple cocktail, you should taste the pineapple immediately.
Lastly, you want the cocktail to be smooth. This means that you don't want it overpowered by alcohol. However, this does not mean that you make the cocktail weak. Alcoholic beverages should contain a good amount of alcohol. To create a smooth, easy to drink cocktail it is essential to use quality ingredients that complement each other and not compete against each other.
The Strawberry Breeze has all three of these elements. The sweetness is balanced by the citrus lemon juice, the strawberry flavor shines through, and the cocktail is easy to drink!

Ingredients for this Valentine's Day Drink
vodka - use your favorite brand. We used Titos.
strawberry schnapps - we recommend you use De Kyuper. This is the only brand of schnapps that we recommend and is the only brand we serve at our restaurant. In my opinion, they have the truest flavor profiles and are good quality.
lemon juice - freshly squeezed, we do not recommend using bottled juice.
white cranberry juice - you can use regular cranberry juice if you can't find white cranberry juice. The color of the cocktail will be red.
ice - use in the shaker and pour over ice to serve.
strawberries - thinly sliced and/or whole use as garnish,
How to Make this Strawberry Breeze Cocktail
Slice Strawberries - and sliced strawberry randomly inside the serving glass and add ice.
Combine all Ingredients - in a cocktail shaker with ice and shake well.
Strain - cocktail mixture into a cocktail glass and serve.
Garnish - with fresh strawberries.

- 1 ounce strawberry liqueur
- ½ ounce fresh lemon juice
- 3 ounces white cranberry juice
- fresh strawberry thinly sliced
- Ice
Instructions
Place sliced strawberry randomly inside the serving glass and add ice.
Place all ingredients into a cocktail shaker and shake well
Pour cocktail mixture into the serving glass and serve.
