Homemade Pumpkin Dog Treats Recipe
As we prepare to bake for the upcoming Fall season, let’s not forget about our precious furry friends. They too like yummy treats. How about baking up a batch of delicious seasonal pumpkin dog treats for your best friend. These cookies are made with pumpkin, peanut butter and oatmeal. They will love them, my Jacko did.
Important!
PLEASE read the ingredients on the back of your peanut butter and make sure that it does not contain xylitol. Xylitol is an alcohol derived from plants and it is a natural sweetener. It is extremely toxic to dogs. Some brands are adding xylitol to reduce the sugar. Please make sure there is no salt added to the peanut butter. I use Teddie All-Natural Peanut Butter. It contains one ingredient – PEANUTS.
