Natural Mango Popsicles - It's getting hot outside here in New York and there's no better feeling than enjoying a cool, refreshing snack. Mango honey popsicles are a great way to cool down. These tasty pops are full of fruity mango flavor with a touch of natural sweetness from the honey.
These homemade popsicles are super simple to make! Plus, you only need three ingredients.
How to Make Mango Popsicles at Home
Because mangoes are naturally sweet and flavorful, we didn't want to use a lot of processed sugar. Instead, we added a small amount of honey to enhance the sweetness. To make the puree smoother, we also added water.
Once they're ready, you can store these popsicles in your freezer for a refreshing treat to cool down on a hot day. And they are a natural snack for kids too!
Ingredients for Mango Popsicles
- 3 cups mango chunks, fresh or frozen (thaw first if using frozen)
- ⅓ cup water
- 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
- ¼ cup honey (or to taste)
How to Make this Recipe
You will need a popsicle mold in order to make these. You can use the mold of your choice, there are several different types and sizes available. This recipe is for 6 popsicles using a standard popsicle mold (quantity will vary depending on size of mold you use). You will also need wooden popsicle sticks, if your molds don't have them.
You will also need a high-speed blender. Follow these simple directions and make your mango honey popsicles.
- Blend: Place all the ingredients into a high-speed blender and blend until smooth.
- Fill popsicle molds: Pour mixture into popsicle molds and insert the wooden popsicle sticks into the center of each pop.
- Freeze: Freeze for at least 4-6 hours (8 hours ideally) and enjoy!
