    Delicious and Nutritious: Warm Apple Oatmeal

    Are you tired of the same old breakfast options? Looking for something both delicious and nutritious to kickstart your day? Look no further than warm apple oatmeal! This comforting breakfast dish is not only incredibly satisfying, but it also comes packed with a variety of health benefits.

    One of the key ingredients in warm apple oatmeal is, of course, apples. Apples are a rich source of dietary fiber, helping to keep your digestive system healthy and your hunger at bay. They are also packed with antioxidants, which can help boost your immune system and protect against various diseases.

    Another important ingredient in this breakfast dish is oatmeal. Oats are a whole grain and are high in fiber, which can help lower cholesterol levels and regulate blood sugar levels. They are also a good source of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, making them a wholesome addition to your diet.

    Warm Apple Oatmeal Breakfast Bowl

    There is nothing more comforting than a bowl of warn apple oatmeal on a cold morning. Well, it has been getting colder here in upstate New York. The time has come, there is frost on the cars in the morning and all the indoor plants have found their way back inside for the next few months.

     This warm apple oatmeal will be ready in 10 minutes. The best part about oatmeal is that it’s really quick and easy to make, you can add any toping you have on hand, and it keeps you full with lots of energy until lunch time!

    Oatmeal Health Benefits

    I recently read an article where it is recommended that oatmeal should be eaten on a regular basis. Oats are very nutritious and have many health benefits. According to WebMd oats provide the following health benefits:

    Lowers blood sugar levels;

    Provides antioxidants;

    Promotes healthy bacteria in your gut;

    Helps you to feel full to manage your weight;

    Eases constipation;

    Relieves skin itching and irritation;

     Lowers your chance of colon cancer.

    Of course, we are not medical professionals and this information should not be taken as medical advice. However, we are cooks and we know good food. And, this warm apple oatmeal hits the spot on a cold morning. It is delicious, warm and made with apple cider, almond milk and cinnamon, topped brown sugar glazed apples, walnuts and maple syrup. What else can you ask for on a cold November morning.
