To make Aloo Gobi, you need the following ingredients:
- 1 medium cauliflower, cut into florets
- 2 large potatoes, peeled and diced
- 2 tablespoons coconut oil
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 tomatoe chopped
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- 1/2 of a medium jalapeno diced (optional for spice)
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon ginger powder
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- Salt to taste
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
How to Make Indian Style Cauliflower and Potatoes
Follow these steps to make flavorful Indian-style cauliflower and potatoes:
- Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them sizzle for a few seconds.
- Add finely chopped onion and sauté until it turns golden brown.
