Pre heat oven to 375°. Lightly oil bunt or cake pan, set aside.
Peel and dice apples, set aside.
Place all dry ingredients - flour, sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt into a large mixing bowl and whisk together until fully combined. Set aside.
Melt butter.
In a separate mixing bowl, mix all wet ingredients - buttermilk, apple cider, melted butter, oil, eggs, amaretto liquor and vanilla extract.
Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients. Fold in lightly until fully mixed. Do not over mix.
Fold in apples, just until they are covered with batter. Do not over mix.
Place batter into oiled pan and bake for 40-45 minutes. Until toothpick comes out clean.
Let cool completely before serving.
Amaretto Dulce de Leche Sauce
Mix amaretto and dulce de leche until smooth.
