Fried Chicken and Baked Pancake

Semi-Homemade Chicken and Baked Pancake.

Ingredients
  
  • 1 bag of frozen store bought fried chicken
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 3 tablespoon butter – 2 tablespoon melted 1 tablespoon for pan
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon sea salt
  • maple syrup
Instructions
 
  • Bake chicken according to package directions.
  • Pre-heat oven to 375° and place pan into the oven when you turn it on.
  • Place all dry ingredients into a large mixing bowl and mix together.
  • Place buttermilk, 2 tablespoons melted butter, egg and vanilla extract into a mixing bowl and whisk together.
  • Mix wet and dry ingredients together.
  • Once the oven is ready remove the pan and place one tablespoon of butter into the pan and coat it.
  • Place the batter into the hot buttered pan and bake for 20 minutes.
  • Plate the chicken and baked pancakes and serve with butter and maple syrup.
