Spicy Edamame Appetizer Recipe

This spicy edamame appetizer recipe is loaded with flavors of soy sauce, sesame oil, Chile oil, sesame seeds, mandarin, lime zest and a touch of sea salt.

Ingredients
  
  • 10 ounces of frozen edamame beans in the pod
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
  • ¼ teaspoon mandarin zest
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • ¼ teaspoon lime zest
  • 1 teaspoon chile oil
  • coarse sea salt - to taste
Instructions
 
  • Cook the edamame beans either by boiling, microwaving or steaming them.
  • Place all other ingredients into a large mixing bowl. Once the beans are cooked, drain the water and add them to the bowl.
  • Mix well and transfer into serving dish.
